New Year Refresh

It's officially that time of year where everyone is posting their New Years resolutions and how they plan to improve themselves. However, it's much easier said than done. So I've come up with a few tips to help you be a better version of yourself in 2022. Even the simple things can help you become a better version of yourself - whether it's drinking more water or implementing a new filing system at work. Keep reading to see how I plan on improving myself and developing better habits:

  • Drink more water - I know this may sound cliche, but this is something I'm desperately trying to do more of. Water is the best thing for your body, so drinking at least a few glasses per day can do wonders for your body. Click here to shop a great water bottle to help you stay motivated with H20.
  • Become more organized - I work from home, so staying organized is key to helping me stay sane. Clearing off and organizing your desk or workspace can help increase productivity and help you get more motivated to work within a better mind-set. Click here to shop some of my favorite WFM items.
  • Increase mobility - If you're like me and the thought of working out makes you cringe, implementing small amount of movement such as walking or jogging can make a huge difference in your day-to-day life. I work a 9-5 corporate job so it can be hard for me to find time during the day to workout. However, finding time to walk or jog during your breaks or before dinnertime can make your day feel that much more productive!
  • Skipping those coffee runs - Speaking from experience, I know how easy it can be to grab your favorite drink or snack while out and about. Opting to make coffee at home or grabbing something small from your kitchen can be a big $$ saver. I'm currently saving up to move out and get my own place, so I will definitely be sticking to this one to save a little extra cash (though the occasional splurge doesn't hurt - *wink wink*).
  • Practice self care - Now more than ever, taking care of your body is one of the most important things you can do to improve yourself both mentally and physically. Maybe it might be implementing a new skincare routine, taking a long bubble bath while sipping a glass of wine, or even getting your nails/hair done (my personal favorite). Self-care is never something to feel guilty about and will always be a way to keep yourself healthy and happy!

Welcome!

| “Everything happens for a reason. Make today happy.” |

A little bit about me:

I'm originally from Atlanta, GA and have lived in the area all of my life. I recently graduated from Georgia Southern University with my bachelor's degree in public relations and moved back home a few months ago. I'm an only child, but that never bothered me growing up. I learned to be independent, do things for myself, and keep myself company much of the time.

I'm an avid Starbucks drinker, lover of Friends, Grey's Anatomy, and Sex and the City, and love finding budget-friendly fashion finds while occasionally splurging (oops). I'm definitely a girly girl, but still have a simplistic/edgy side to me. Aside from being a fashion lover, I also have a knack for home decor and interior design. I often catch myself stalking home decor pages on IG + Pinterest for hours on end for future home inspiration - as we all do. These are just a few of the things I'll be sharing on here!

Although I plan on pursuing a career in PR, I wanted to start a blog in conjunction with my Instagram page to continue sharing what I love. I've been following along with numerous bloggers for a few years now, and decided that I wanted to follow in their footsteps. Blogging seemed like such an interesting and modern way to communicate what I'm loving, so I decided to go for it!

In the future, my hopes are for this page to grow, while improving my own skills. I love connecting with others who share the same passions as I do and building relationships that will last a lifetime. If you like what you see and want to reach out - let's connect!

Thanks for stopping by!
